I agree with Starr.. if you want that kind of makeup then you should sell it.. You will make money from your friends and co workers and get the makeup at a highly discounted price. Dont envy those girls who can afford it now. They may be pampered now... but those who know the value of a dollar appreciate it more than those whose parents pay for it all... Keep working hard and stay in school... Do what makes you happy:) You will get everything you want as long as you are willing to work for it!!!How do you afford expensive makeup?

Wink @ a couple of rich boys, they will manage to secure for U anything U want.
My parents buy it for me....I dont get Mary kay tho...I get Estee Lauder! I figure that taking care of you face is important and i dont wanna mess it up by use cheap stuff...so thats what i tell my mommy!
Either your rich, or have a job.
i just dont eat.its easy really. just eat once a day. u can use the money to buy MAC even.
I use Mary Kay,,, it really isn't any more expensive than some others. They may let their mom buy for them, or work part time. Also if they have family or a good friend that sells, they can buy it 1/2 off.
When I was still in school I was also working full time so I could afford my MAC makeup...and let me tell you, unless you can afford to buy it, don't start. It is an addiction, especially with MAC because they are always coming out with new colors, etc. Get a job babysitting or get a part-time admin job for the extra money. That way you'll be able to have fun whenever you want to (and you'll be getting some sort of job experience)!!
No secret, some people just have access to more money than others, through parents, jobs, etc. I wish you the best in being able to acquire these things, maybe try ebay for deals on Mary Kay?
Two jobs.
Parents have money. They have jobs. They budget their money. They buy expensive make-up and cheap clothes. There could be any number of reasons. And FYI, while Mary Kay does cost more than say, drug store make-up, it is a lot less than department store make-up. There is also something to be said for quality. By the way, quality often costs less than going cheap the long run
1 get a job
2 plan ahead the make-up u want and how expensive it is
3 spend the money you made on your job on the make-up
I'm on a budget and every month I calculate what I need. Then I write down a list of makeup, check my expiration dates to see if I can do without for awhile. If there's something that's necessary, I can splurge the next month on something extra; like more lipstick or new brushes. Don't know if this helps you answer your question; this is something I do.
I sell Mary Kay and I have a lot of customers that have very low budgets. What they do is they earn hostess credit either by taking a catalog to work and selling for me (they earn 20% of what they sell in free product) or they have a party at their home-- (20% of what they sell in free product + free gifts + other incentives).
If you are very serious about using the products AND making extra money, you should become a consultant. But if you don't want to make extra money and just want to afford to product- then selling for someone else (like me) is a good way to earn the product without having to sign on as a consultant, if that makes sense.

you have the moeny to buy it or save your moeny or buy cheaper make up but i would go with the one that cost more
No secrets other than a job or parents who are willing to buy it for you.
You can always try eBay and whatnot, but I don't know if I'd buy makeup off there... seems a little risky.
i ask my parent for maoney but then again im 16
They sell it. If you want to sell Avon (Mark), or Mary Kay. You get discounts, and can earn points to buy stuff.
They might have a part-time job and may be getting a good allowance from their parents. One thing you have to remember if you ever will use make-up. Splurge on expensive cleansers, toners and moisturizers, but for decorative cosmetic you can buy the more inexpensive kind. It's all the same, even expensive mascara's like Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Mac's etc. are getting clumpy at the same speed as Cover girl or Maybelline. They all have been tested and are hypo-allergenic. You're really much better of spending the money on skin care.
they have a job like me! I babysit and can afford 30 dollar concealer!
