Whats the best way to clean my expensive makeup brushes?

My Bare Minerals makeup brushes are saturated with powder foundation and Mineral Veil...Whats the best way to clean my expensive makeup brushes?
I was all my brushes (Expensive ones) with baby shampoo.

Works fine.

You can also use a little conditioner after.

Treat them like your hair.

I also wash mine like twice a week.Whats the best way to clean my expensive makeup brushes?
you should wash your brushes in water that's lukewarm (not too hot, but not too cold either,) using shampoo. I've found that some regular shampoos are a tad harsh, so I tend to stick to baby shampoos as they are gentler.

make sure that while you wash your brush and while it's wet you try to only wet the bristles, and keep your brush facing downwards, as if you tip it up water may get up into the farrel (the part that joins the bristles to the handle) and this can ruin your brush.

rinse all the baby shampoo out of your brush and gently squeeze excess water out. lay it down to dry overnight, and by morning it should be perfectly dry and clean :)
Just wash them with warm water and dish soap. Dawn works the best at removing the makeup. I use brushes for foundation, blush, powder, eyeliner and eyeshadow and they are all easy to clean. After you wash them stand them up in a glass or narrow bowl to air dry. If you wash them in the morning they should be dry by the next morning.
Hey :)

You should invest in a good brush cleanser like mac.

If you dont want to spend loads of money on a brush cleaner, you could use 'johnsons baby shampoo' which is really good :)

its keeps your brushes soft.

Then after you have washed them let them air dry :)

or i have seen these brush holder things that can keep the brush hairs shapes, and stop them from sticking out. im not sure what its called, but im sure you could find them easily on ebay.

i found out there brush guard :) :L

hope i helped :)

Someone on the Estee Lauder counter told me to wash my brushes once a month using warm water and a gentle shampoo like Johnson's Baby. Leave to air dry. It keeps them clean and helps prevent them collecting bacteria which can give you spots.
Wash them using warm water and cleanser so that you dont get a reaction from general cleaner. Then stand them in a glass to air dry.
With your face cleanser, then squeeze out the excess water with paper towel, then leave to air dry.
you can buy brush cleaner from most places i clean my MAC bruses with the mac cleaner
Use a mild shampoo and conditioner, works wonders. :)
Soap and water well rinsed and left out to drip and dry
try something called....H2o duhhhhhhh
Try buying cheaper ones, that you can just throw away..
i like the way you had to add ';expensive'; in there like it makes a difference.... but just wash them with soap and dry them with a ahairdryer
