For example nicer eyeliner such as MAC, does it stay on longer than a cheaper one?Does expensive makeup make a difference?
you absolutely cannot compare covergirl to MAC.... i would never use that drug store stuff again after using the quality brands
however, if you asked me to tell the difference between a MAC shadow for $15 bucks vesus a Chanel shadow for a lot more, i couldn't tell you about a difference.
eyeliner is the worst thing to cheap out on- never get that at the drugstore! you just gotta find out what products work for you!
plus, it's also important that my cosmetics are not tested on animals and do not contain any harmful materials. high-level cosmetics live up to that standardDoes expensive makeup make a difference?
It really depends on the brand and what it's specifically for. For instance, MAC Eyeliner (for me) always smears towards the end of the day. As opposed to CHANEL eyeliner - it stays on all day even 'til the next day (after partying all night). But, MAC lipsticks are great! The color lasts longer on your lips and Chanel doesn't. Lancome mascaras are okay but Maybelline Intense XXL (Volume %26amp; Length) does wonders to my short eyelashes. I've used cheaper products back in the days such as Revlon, Almay and Loreal and it's actually as good as the higher end brand names!
yes-for the most part. mac's fluid eyeliner is great but it's liquidy-if you're talking pencils-i hear it comes off/smudges within a couple hours. people say revlon colorstay and almay is even better. but i've heard the BEST eyeliner is from mary kay. on a general basis-you get what you pay for but not always. if you're just starting i wouldn't suggest buying ALL expensive stuff-although splurging on foundation isn't a bad idea.. you're still learning and you dont want to waste your money by wasting product.
Yes it makes a huge difference in fact watch this youtube video it made her look radiant more so than after watching her tutorials of other products you can see such a huge difference.

These products are worth the investment!
yes and no. I think it depends on what it is. I dont think eyeliner makes much difference. BUt foundation I feel does make a difference. I have been using a better brand now and can see a difference in my face.
Yep, it really does. You can find some OK cheap stuff, but until you try the expensive stuff, you don't really know what you are missing.
yeah, i think some makes a difference.
others, not so much .
i use urban decay black oil slick eyeshadow, and i use maybelene eyelyner.
it stays all day : D
Yes some actually do really it is the texture that makes a difference , more high quality make up goes on more smoothly and often times last longer .
I used to wear MAC makeup but since I became a SAHM I started using the Revlon colorstay. I will say that there was no difference other then the price.
MAC is non-allergenic
%26amp; the difference is it's just plain-out better quality.
like would you rather wear dollarstore make up?
It is a matter of testing yourself, some expensive makeup (especially cover up) works better than the cheaper ones.
it probably stays on longer but you should like compare them together put the cheap on and then count how many days its on until it wares off then do the other....
yes, in sum ways..... like make up Base is really important so it will always be a good and expensive one bt other things you can choose
Don't use makeup at all, its a waste of money. Personally i think my girlfriend looks fine with or without it.
idk
i;ve never had the luxury of using nice makeup lol
some don't, some do.
it depends on what brand.
It really depends.
Alot of people are makeup snobs and tihnk only high end brands will work the best, but NOT true!
There are many duplicates!
I mean, I luv her videos and all, but fafinettex3 is an example.
She used to use alot of drugstore things but now shes all about MAC,Stila,Bobbi Brown and NARS. I mean alot of the things she buys now look identical to her drugstore eyeshadows and liners, shes fooling herself! She says its pretty and it looks identical to her previous ones.
And if you look at the ingredients and how they make their makeup, trust me there is hardly a difference(like the person said up there, dollar store makeup) it can be just as good, but if you're a makeup SNOB then you'll convince yourself its better.
It's called cheating people, thats what makeup brands do! Like MAC for instance, they charge too much but people will buy it anyways because they think its better and higher quality.
Sometimes it is,for instance-MAC Studio Fix, its good stuff but makes some people breakout. But its good, but Revlon Colorstay is almost the same, and doesnt make you breakout.
Try eyeslipsface.com(also their Studio Line)
