Whats the best way to clean expensive makeup brushes?

What kind of soap or cleanser? Its a $30.00 Bare Minerals foundation brush, its saturated with powder foundation and Mineral VeilWhats the best way to clean expensive makeup brushes?
MAC makes an amazing brush cleaner, if you can't afford it you can always try warm water and baby shampoo ( preferably one with conditioner in it) and soak the brushes in it then rinse them clean. But to be honest I prefer the MAC brush cleaner.Whats the best way to clean expensive makeup brushes?
Use a mild shampoo, especially if you're not sure if your bristles are synthetic or natural because while synthetic hair will stand up to harsher cleansing agents, natural hair will not.

DON'T BLOW DRY THEM. If the hair is synthetic, this can damage it. Press out as much water as you can with a towel and then lay them on top of a dry towel to air dry.
Use a mild hand soap. Get the brushes wet, put the soap in your palm and gently rub the brushes around in your palm. Rinse (and repeat if necessary).

After a final rinse, be sure to use your fingers to properly shape the brush before setting it down to dry. If it's a pointed brush, use your fingers to set the point. For a blusher brush, gently shape the entire brush into a proper circle.

Don't use soaps with any added stuff (moisturizers, antibacterial aids, etc.) Ivory liquid soap is a good choice.
First you can do it by running the brush under warm water with it faced down. Add a little shampoo and lightly work up a lather. Rinse the brush under the warm water. Point bristels down. Then air dry. Or you can go to the store and buy the solution specifically meant to clean make-up brushes.Remember that you want to use things that are mild on your brush or else you get wiry or fanning brushes and the bristles can fall out.Money down the drain. Hope I helped a little.
Use mild soap. Air dry it after cleaning it and remember to lay it flat!
Use make-up remover and thoroghly later and clean with baby wipe and make-up remove(Put remover and wipe)
I use alcohol or soapy water. Rinse well %26amp; comb the bristles to help prevent tangling (just like your hair). You get the best results from a cheap, plastic comb. Lay flat on a towel to dry.
you can buy a makeup brush cleaning solution and then lay them flat to dry
baby oil and then wash them.
paint thinner
pee is good for cleaning makeup brushes.
Don't put them in the dishwasher. I ruined three brushes from Sephora- $45-$150, in the dish washer.
I would gently massage the brush with hair shampoo. I have the same problem. Massage while drying, or use a blow drier with the brush facing away from the air flow.
