Mac makeup too Expensive?

ive been hearing some great things about mac makeup but ive also been told its very Expensive is that true? if so is the makeup worth the money?Mac makeup too Expensive?
As far as makeup goes, Mac is the top of the line. It's wonderful makeup that many top people use for fashion shows and movies. That being said. It is expensive if you use the whole line. It's worth it if you wear a lot of makeup or are a makeup pro. As for me, I have bits and pieces of it such as eyeshadows and lip glosses.





I used to wear their powder until I found out about Bare Escentuals (www.bareescentuals.com). Try their their starter kit. You really will be amazed at how great this stuff is! It is so pretty and makes your skin so pretty too! I personally wouldn't use anything else on my skin!Mac makeup too Expensive?
um, someone below said it was sold at walgreen's. i don't know where you live, but it's only a department store makeup here. you won't find it in walgreen's or wal mart. Report Abuse

Their makeup isn't that expensive.... and u definitely get ur money's worth! U may pay a little bit more in the beginning but it lasts a realllly looong time!! It's well worth it! You wont regret it!
it is really expensive.one time i went to walgreens to see how much it was and the lip gloss was 5.00 dollars.but the makeup is sooo pretty.i think it is worth the money.(if you have it)
I wear mac makeup and its great and worth buying but i would recomend you only buy fondation and blush considering there other makeup works as well as other name brands
Mac is soooo expensive, but is totally work it! The colours and quality are amazing and lasts for ages. Worth getting some investment pieces!

MAC is just as expensive as the other brands in department stores. If you're used to drugstore brands, then yes, MAC will be quite expensive!





What kind of MAC makeup are you interested in? They are known for their wide variety of eyeshadow colors. If you want a cheaper alternative, Milani (available at www.walgreens.com and in some Walgreens and CVS locations) and Prestige (so far I've only found them at Walgreens) are the only two drugstore brands I've found that make eyeshadows of a high enough quality to compare with MAC. If you're open to mineral makeup, Aromaleigh (www.aromaleigh.com) has a huge selection of eyeshadow colors, all of an excellent quality, for about half the price of MAC's eyeshadows!





Now most cheaper stuff isn't going to be as good as a brand like MAC. However, there are definitely a few quality cheaper products out there -- you just have to know where to look! And if I can find a cheaper alternative that's just as good, I'll definitely buy it ;)





I'm not sure about other MAC makeup ... some girls like their foundations, but a lot of girls complain their Studio Fix foundation breaks them out. (Or so I've heard on makeup message boards!) Not sure about their other products...
It is only 40 bucks for some but it is worth it, also try perscriptives and macys! they are cheaper and better they have acne stuff that gets rid of it in 2 days! and they find makeup that looks good with your skin color and prevents wrinkles! hope i helped! :)
YES ok i know that it might seem weird to spend $20 on a lip gloss, but thats all i wear. I am 13 nd i love there product. It will last ypu forever, its worth that money to spend alot on mac makeup you wil have it for ever and it will last for ever. i hope that i could help
