Whats a good makeup product thats not to expensive?

all the good makeup is WAY too expensive and the makeup i buy isn't good enough where can i get some makeup thats not too expensive?Whats a good makeup product thats not to expensive?
I like Loreal....or at Target they have Sonia Kosek (cant spell it)Whats a good makeup product thats not to expensive?
if its up your alley then try online...there are many mineral makeup products that are cheaper than national brands. One is Every day minerals. Way cheaper than Bare minerals. Or Ebay has a lot of mineral makeup brands that are as good quality for way less cost. I have tried a lot of them and only disliked a few. The ones i disliked were only because I like talc. And some are irritated by that so there are brands which exclude that ingredient. It makes for a soft focus effect. But other than that eyeslipsface.com is great and all products are just a buck.
maybelline has some really nice stuff. and you can get it at walgreens or wherever
Mix some paprika with vegetable oil. Smear it on your face. You'll never look so hot!
cover girl is not to bad
KOHLS THEY HAVE FLiRT COSMETiCS. OR YOU CAN BUY NEUTROGENA OR SONiA KAHSUK. MARK AND AVON ARE GOOD AND REALLY CHEAP.
MAC is my favorite u have to pay teh price to look nice
makeup that comes in catalogs is always affordable

avon- $6-12

marykay $ 9-20

jafra $ 9-14

instore prices may vary for different brands like covergirl, maybelline, and revlon, kmart/ walmart sometimes have makeup sales too.
Try this website... www.eyeslipsface.com
actually, NYC color and Wet 'n Wild (both at department stores) are really good products.

but you can always use magic markers!
Order with your own Avon rep..they are some new lines getting credit in fashion magazines which they will prove their testimony. At Avon if you are not happy with the product , it is returnable..Glimmerstick eyeliner has lasting power and in my experience better than a 20.00 mac eyeliner. They have a new line called Marc..designed for the youth ,,but excellent concept and wear,,fraction of mac cost. In addition in the regular flyers, they always have promotions and items do go on special throughout the season. Also, they have an outlet mini mag with discounts. One last thing, home delivery is no cost to you..amazing p.s. i am NOT a rep ..p.p.s you can back order your

sales item from the last campaign if you miss the special . Wow!
SEPHORA, MAC OR WET %26amp; WILD.
Rimmel is a fav of mine. not expensive and found at Walmart
lip gloss is always good

Is covergirl and drugstore brands of makeup ok? do they work just as good as the expensive brands?

in my experience they work just as good except for the fact that they may not last as long. for example if you put on covergirl eyeshadow it may not last as long as mac, but u know what that is totally fine cuz in my experice covergirl lasted as long as i wanted.. sooo.. therefore i dont thikn thres much of a dfifernece. but there could be a difference in the way of the material its made of.. what it contains.. like other brands may! be healthier for your face.. idk tho. lol. just get covergirl its fine! and really, the main thing is the way you put teh makeup on your face, the TECHNIQUE, than what brand you use!!Is covergirl and drugstore brands of makeup ok? do they work just as good as the expensive brands?
covergirl's powder foundation is amazing! it stays on all day!!

and Rimmel makes a liquid foundation that stays on for 16 hours!! It is called lasting effects. I actually think it is better than expensive brands. All other liquid foundation melts and sweats off my face instantly, but the foundation that Rimmel makes actually stays!!

and as for mascara, there are some in drugstores that are just for certain colors of eyes to help bring them out. they are amazing!!

I actually love drugstore makeup better than expensive ones.Is covergirl and drugstore brands of makeup ok? do they work just as good as the expensive brands?
It depends on the product, and your skin. For higher end stuff you really do pay for the name. I use a lot of high end products but there are drugstore brands I like so much better. I love loreal telescopic mascara, it's the best mascara I've used in a while, lash blast is pretty good as well! Revlon color stay foundation is actually comparable to MAC studio fix fluid, or makeup forever HD foundation. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have a pump and more germs get into it. Jane has pretty good eyeshadows, I have a few and I'm liking them, they're very smooth and velvet-like. Hmm... I like wet n wild liquid liners, love the fine brush. There illuminating powders are okay too. Hope this helps :D
Nope. And I will probably be the only person to tell you why exactly. When a brand gets a patent for their product they say how much money, time and active ingredients they have put in. This is how the price gets determined. Now the cheap brands are not tested for clinical results and things like that. Look at an end line product like an investment that won't really harm your skin as much as something that is full with chemicals and goes bad after a month.
the expensive brands usually come in more shades and colors depending on what type of make up, and are of better quality.. in eyeshadows, mascara..etc

but many things are just as good to i think

esp. bronzer, concealer and face powders and eyeliner.

l'oreal is a good brand from drugstores.. its from the same maker as the department store brand lancome. maybelline and revlon are good too
I just use anything really...

I dont see the point in going and buying make up thats really expensive but because it will rub off eventually, like the way it says for example lipgloss; 'it will stay on for hours even when you take a drink on for hours' once you touch it it will be gone so i dont buy it i just buy collection 2000 and maybeline :)
Yea they are fine if they work for your. They have some good stuff you just need to look around. Covergirl has nice blushes and lipglosses, maybellene has a nice mascara (fullnsoft) almay has a nice eyeliner, rimmel has nice lipglosses and lipsticks, and nyx has lovely eyeshadows and lipgloss!!!!
More or less, depends on what you want. Drugstore products don't last very long. I've had a problem with the liners and mascara crumbing and getting all over my face.

I absolutly hate that, and it drives me insane to see other people walking around with black flakes under their eyes!!!

Over all, no. They are nowhere near brands like MAC, Ben Nye, ect. But, that doesn't mean that you should go and spend a ton of money on their products.

If you want something that will stay on a long time, get some eyeshadow primmer. Urban Decay's Primer Potion is REALLY popular right now, you can get it at Macy's.

If you want some shadow that will show up well, and stay on, but you don't want to spean a fortune on it:

http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/鈥?/a>

Costalscents and some AMAZING palletes.

Their 88 pallete is $20, and has every color you could posibly want.

There's a 28 Piece Eye Shadow Neutral Palette for about the same price.

(it's the same, but the amout of product you get is much larger.)

Their brushes are also amazing, and very cheep. I love that store to bits!
Covergirl and Drugstore brands work fine.

It just depends on how you use them and apply them.

Of course, MAC and Sephora products will always be better than drugstore brands, though.. They're much more pigmented.

But it really depends on you and what you like. :]
Drugstore brands are just as good as the expensive ones. But if you have very senitive skin(like mine),some of the more expensive brands carry hypoallergenic make-up.
They don't stay on as long. My skin is quite oily though so I try to use good brands. And for things like eye shadows and lip glosses most drugstore brands don't have a great selection of colours.
covergirl isn't that great, maybelline and rimmel are way better. and if you have sensitive skin use neutrogena.
the cheap ones usually work ok, but the expensive ones are usually made of better stuff that goes on easier and smoother.
yahh covergirl is reallyyy good! i use there lash blast mascara and no joke... my lashes look sooo long! and its much cheaper than a 40$ tube of mascara... u will save alot of money! hope this helps=)
Cheaper brands work just as well, if not better than the name brands.
some clog pores.

and covergirl tests on animalsD:

just saying

Just started out with airbrush makeup... wondering what the least expensive but good quality foundations are?

Possibly looking for a kit that contains many different shades.Just started out with airbrush makeup... wondering what the least expensive but good quality foundations are?
Bare minerealJust started out with airbrush makeup... wondering what the least expensive but good quality foundations are?
bare minerals sucks- it makes your face shiny and the bizmuth filler in it causes reactions on many people

Why is good makeup in Australia so Expensive? ?

I have heard one youtuber mentioning that it is because we have a beauty tax but still that must be a huge tax! In the US they can get cosmetics like Mac or Napoleon Perdis (which is a Australian brand) for really cheap and the AUS$ is not too far away from the US$.Why is good makeup in Australia so Expensive? ?
I know - it's not fair.

I just go on eBay lol.Why is good makeup in Australia so Expensive? ?
Because there isnt enough competition in australia. Take Supermarkets for example (Woolworths, Coles and Aldi). The lack of competitions means that they could negotiate with each other to charge their costumers higher prices in order to earn higher profits for their shareholders.

Othe reasons include employee wages, inflation, transportation costs (espicially now that fuel prices are high and a lot of products used in the beauty industry are also derived from crude oil like packaging).
yeaaa... i know... and that sucks...

that's why i'm not planning on investing on mac EVER.... here.. eyeshadow worths like AU$35 each.... DUH!!!!

and then those brushes.... each costs AU$30-45?????? what the....!?

and that's why i'm investing on lots of cheap makeups like BYS... have you tried that brand??? i just bought 4 eyeshadows (individual) and 1 set plus empty case for the individual eyeshadows for a total AU$18..... that's AWESOME....

but for good products like revlon colorstay eyeliner (which costs $22.95) - my eyes are closed.... i just HAVE to own that piece...
I think Napoleon Perdis is actually manufactured here.. I've no idea so don't think I';m stupid %26gt;%26lt;

I think for MAC though it's because it's a Canadian brand and they've to pay to ship it over seas.

Sephora is actually doing a 75% off clearance sale on Napoleon Perdis. So I'd just stock up and pay the shipping online so they ship it to you. It's a lot cheaper
Everything is so expensive. It's ridiculous
TRY KRYOLAN

KRYOLAN IS NOT THAT Expensive

What's the most expensive makeup you've ever bought?

mines was Dermalogica Tint Moisture ($ 75 fuccking bucks)What's the most expensive makeup you've ever bought?
im not sure, probably in the 30s.

you people are craaaaazy, makeup for 100 buckss hahaWhat's the most expensive makeup you've ever bought?
Something like 60 quid (120 dollars) for a foundation and i have used make up from all ranges and its a con. The expensive ones are no better than products like Maybeline and Max Factor. It was true when the advert said '' Max Factor, the make up for Make up artists'' Max Factor has been commonly used on film sets for decades.
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer- $42

Sephora 10-piece Makeup brush set- $75
Sephora is a pretty friggin' expensive store.
Dior 5 color eyeshadow pallette 56
M.A.C. eyeshadaw and lip gloss
Estee Lauder

Don't you hate expensive makeup that does not work?

I hate it when you go into a department store and the clerks there try to tell you that drugstore brands do not compare to the department store brands.

    WHAT DO YOU THINK???

I think some Loreal products are just as good as Lancome products, if not better.

http://www.johnnytranmakeup.comDon't you hate expensive makeup that does NOT work??
I totally agree! Now, I am a fashionista and I do adore fashion and good makeup along with it but I cannot take it when I go shopping and the sales clerk push me off to the side and literally talk me into buying these $60 cremes that doesn't even work.

I'm right on with you man!Don't you hate expensive makeup that does NOT work??
I hate it, too. My mom bought the CILS design pro dual end mascara from Lancome($35.00). When I applied it made my eye lashes look like spider legs. The lancome person even applied it it still looked the same. I don't even like lancome. They test on animals :(
umm ur avatar is a guy umm what the heck is wrong with this picture?
I hate it too. I've found that my revlon powder works best for me. But then again powder is just about the only product I've found that I can go for the cheapies with.
yea i know what you mean!! for the pageant that i compete in, i usually get makeup from drugstores instead b/c they are so much better than all of that other junk. I have to raise a lot of money and i dont want to spend it all on expensive makeup that doesnt work!
I think just because it has a pretty price tag doesn't mean its better. sometimes cheaper products are better then expensive ones it just depends.
everybody don't like spend money for a bad result
yah i do hate them and i hate it when ppl follow you around the store to tell you something works really good or looks really good and so you buy it just to shut them up and then they look horrible or they suck.
depends of what kind of make up you use it for. All you have to really do is use a good brand mosturize and protect it with face sunscreen that runs for $30 and last you a month. and after that you could basically use any off the counter blush, eyeshadow, or anything like that. As long as you use the good kind to protect your skin. And buy a real good lip protection with spf and then you could apply any off the counter gloss you want. It all about what is under your make-up.
I think some of the more expensive brands are way better than drugstore makeup. They are finely milled, and have a richer pigment density. I go for some cheaper mascaras, but all my color products are more high end b/c I find they work better for me. Plus, they have less cheap junky fillers in them.

    Do I need expensive makeup?

I now have a skincare routine and wonder if i need to really go to high end cosmetics. Also. I see all the beauty videos and all the looks are dramatic. How do I get a complete everyday look? i'm not shy and love color, but want to look great not clownish. - MarkDo I need expensive makeup?
    For everyday: work, errands, etc.

1] shape and fill in brows. Recommend you get professional shaping first.

    2] curl and mascara lashes

3] a little blush or tinted moisturizer

    4] lip color

5] earrings! I know they are not makeup, but they help your face look 'finished'.

    6] concealer -

a] dab on a bit direct over red area

    b] blend edges, not middle

c] gently brush translucent powder over area to set it

I have never used anything but drugstore makeup/skin care, and have great skin. [ Cover Girl, Maybelline, L'oreal, Revlon,

    Aveeno, Olay, Neutrogena, Clearasil ]

These are the BASICS - get good at them, then you can branch out to:

a] liners - thin line along lashlines only! Start with a crayon pencil, like Cover girl or Physician's formula

b] shadows - a color that contrasts with your, but also complements [ not matches! ] your outfit.

Ex: if you have light blue eyes, wear greens; grays; aqua, smoke, teal, or navy blues; browns; or purples.Do I need expensive makeup?
I really love Mary Kay - the products are inexpensive (I used Clinique before MK) and for 5 years I am addicted to Mary Kay. Their colors are beautiful %26amp; they do not test on animals :-))

    Make up and Colors:

You can go to www.marykay.com for a free virtual make over - upload your picture and play with makeup. Its Great! Suggestions for a natural look depends on your skin tone, etc. For Ivory/ Beige Skin you can use: Tawny lipstick %26amp; Starry Gloss; eyes: vanilla eyecicle with a hazelnut midtone and bronze eyeliner and black mascara (a must!) blush you can use a bronzer or Cinnamon Stick cheek Color.

Bronze Skin: eyes: Silky Caramel %26amp; Chocolate kiss with Deep Brown Eyeliner and Mascara; lips: Rich cocoa lipstick and beach bronze lip gloss; for the cheeks: bronzer or Bold berry cheek color.

You can buy products from Mary Kay consultants or from www.touchofpinkcosmetics.com - I like touch of pink because its 50% off or more and they don't charge tax (if you live in IL, you pay taxes) and there is free shipping on orders over $100.

    Skincare:

I use the TimeWise Skincare line which has a 3-in-1 cleanser, day solution, night solution and moisturizer (it comes for normal-dry skin or combination to oily). I also use a blemish control toner to prevent any breakouts.

I hope this helps! Good Luck
you dont need overly expensize makeup use covergirl or avon or somthing like that. use black eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes %26amp; use mascara %26amp; then for eye shadow use a pink or purple or brown. if u dont want it to look dramatic then dont put it up to your eyebrow stay around the crease of your eye. hope i helped
If your skin is sensative, you might want to spend a little more on your foundations and stuff, just to make sure it won't clog your pores or irritate your skin. But eye makeup is as simple as picking out colors you like. I have everything from MAC, Sephora, and Benefit, to N.Y.C and Sally Girl... Try several kinds. You'll find a brand that suits you.
Are you a guy? Jw, because of your avatar. Ahaha.

I use Clinique. Its not very high end, but its high quality and is great for all skin types. If you want more information about high end makeup,
